DEI Backlash Survivor Coaching Group
A 10-Session weekly coaching group for DEI practitioners who were fired or forced out of DEI positions.
This group is designed to help DEI Backlash Survivors:

regain personal and professional bearings following Institutional Betrayal

build community with other DEI Backlash Survivors
-
learn somatic self-help skills for Racial Battle Fatigue

draw strength from community-defined cultural practices for professional posttraumatic growth

Discussion Topics for Small and Large Groups Include:

Mechanisms of DEI Backlash- institutional betrayal, lateral violence, and workplace mobbing.

Neuroscience of Toxic Stress- how the body/brain system is impacted by chronic stress.

How self-concept and sense of reality are impacted by gaslighting.

Inter-generational racialized labor trauma activated by racist institutional betrayal

Transforming workplace trauma into professional post traumatic growth.

Wellness as birthright- unlearning implicit messaging and workplace dynamics requiring

BIPOC to overachieve and work to the grave in predominantly white institutions.

Between session activities are provided for group members desiring deeper self-exploration.

Workplace Abuse Group Coaching provides peer-based learning about workplace abuse tactics, self-defense strategies, and evidence-based self-help and clinician led practices to heal trauma, anxiety, and depression.
​​​
To attend a Group Coaching session, please select the link below. All attendees must complete a 10-minute introductory call to ensure comfort and confidentiality of all attendees.

Group Coaching is $65 per 90-minute session and capped at 12 people per session.

Online Course- Healing Workplace Trauma: A Guide to Recovery Options​​​
Learn in the privacy of your home at times that are convenient for your schedule with this online trauma-informed course designed to help you Choose Your Own Workplace Trauma Healing Path.
​
This course is a great starting point to learn about the dynamics of workplace abuse, various options for healing from self-help to groups and one-to-on trauma therapies delivered by licensed mental health clinicians.

Based in primary and secondary research on workplace abuse and bullying, this trauma-informed course provides information about:

the impacts of workplace abuse on physical and mental health

where to find and how to choose a therapist and employment attorney

the pros and cons of accessing support from peers or licensed clinicians

information about the risks and benefits of various trauma intervention

The Self-help Somatic Resources Activity Book provides written activities for employees in toxic jobs to track personal injury from abusive encounters and resources where support is available. Meditation and work scheduling activities are designed to support nervous system regulation in abusive and exploitative workplaces. Also provided are activities that build on readers' cultural backgrounds for affirmation and resistance to the psychological manipulation tactics of abusive colleagues.
